AI Charter

MOBiDYS develops automatic text analysis models that enable fine-grained linguistic analysis of each text. Combining the outputs of large language models with manual annotations carried out by MOBiDYS, these models make it possible to identify phonemic, syllabic, morphological, syntactic, and lexical units. They are refined according to specific needs. These models are the exclusive intellectual property of MOBiDYS.

The “FROG” reading assistance tools, which form part of the MOBiDYS FROG format, are based on this prior text analysis.

In this context, MOBiDYS guarantees to the Publisher that it will not use the Publisher’s Works or the FROG Works for the purpose of training any type of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools intended to generate texts imitating the style or genre of a particular author or work.

By way of exception to the foregoing, MOBiDYS is authorized to use the Publisher’s Works and the FROG Works in artificial intelligence tools solely for the purposes set out in this agreement.

Accordingly, MOBiDYS:

• Analyzes the Works using MOBiDYS text analysis models in order to:

  • identify phonemic, syllabic, morphological, syntactic, lexical units, and units of meaning;

• Submits literary texts to AI models in order to:

  • improve the performance of our automatic text analysis models, with the aim of better identifying phonemic, syllabic, morphological, syntactic, lexical units, and groups of meaning;

  • train our models to identify complex words requiring definition, and to automatically generate contextualized definitions, as well as targeted comprehension questions.

MOBiDYS undertakes to comply with, and to ensure that its teams comply with, this charter in order to adapt authors’ works to the FROG format. MOBiDYS also undertakes to select and work with third-party providers that commit to complying with ethical principles. As technologies evolve rapidly, MOBiDYS ensures that its ethical commitments are updated over time.

MOBiDYS undertakes to inform the Publisher of any changes to this charter in order to ensure its alignment with technological, societal, and regulatory developments.
